Paper Bridge Challenge
Each student (group) is provided ten (10) 2.5 in x 8.5 in paper stripes. Your job is to build a paper bridge that can span at least eleven (11) inches apart and has a flat surface to hold weight. You may fold, cut, or glue the provided paper stripes as you wish, but you cannot ask for more paper stripes even if you have accidentally destroyed your material. The design that can hold the largest weight wins. You may discuss your design with your parents, but your parents cannot build the bridge for you. You have 20 minutes to finish the task.
